If you haven't seen or felt the power to occupy Lake Shore Drive with other bikers here in Chicago, well there is still time to register for the annual and summer kickoff events this Memorial Day Weekend here in Chicago.  This coming Sunday, May 29th, at the intersection of Jackson and Columbus Drive around 5:30 a.m., there is an anticipated 20,000 bikers of all ages who will be taking over Lake Shore Drive here in Chicago until 9:45 a.m.

Now, if you are visiting Chicago, I would make sure that you avoid the Drive all together until around noon this coming Sunday.  This is a huge event and it is rather fun to bike.  The fees are basic:  $45.00 pre-registration and that includes the t-shirt.  Children under 17 years of age can register for $15 each.  At the "gate", registration will be $55 but you don't get the t-shirt to add to your collection!

This Memorial Weekend in Chicago is the kickoff for another great summer of events.  Want to register?  Right here

Sounds like fun, I miss the great lakes but I have an ocean to make up for it.
