RainCamp Dallas - Day 2 was THE BEST!
I noticed when I arrived at RainCamp Dallas this morning that a LOT of people that were there yesterday were not present today.
Having just been to RainCamp Houston in December, I thought that I would show up today... see what was going on.... and then head south.
NOT!
If you missed RainCamp today.....
you missed out BIG TIME!
We went over how to write to specific audiences.
Buyers
Seller
Other Agents
Sphere of Influence
How to create interest, promote your blog, and what to do when you can’t think of anything to blog about!
Now you may be thinking, I can read a ton of posts about that without going to RainCamp. ABSOLUTELY. You can also learn Spanish with a CD while driving around in your car. But spending time in a Spanish speaking environment is how you REALLY learn Spanish.
Today RainCamp taught me that for the past 9 months that I have been on ActiveRain, I have really just been playing around. I’ve not been focused. Now it’s time to get serious.
It’s been fun....
...that won’t change.
But I can focus and have fun too!
I also found out that I’ve been doing a few things RIGHT. That’s always nice.
But best of all was the ability to hear all of these successful real estate agents share what works for them.
I felt really blessed to have the opportunity to sit and chat with Karen Otto, Bob Stewart, and Steve Shatsky.
EVEN experienced bloggers HAD to have walked away with something worth their time and effort for having been there today.
Before I go, I just want to tell you a few things about some of the folks that I met at RainCamp that I subscribed to BEFORE RainCamp.
Paula Hamilton: Her eyes twinkle just like they do in her profile picture. She is transparent. WYSIWYG!
Marilyn Boudreau: is a true Southern Belle. She’s every bit as much of a lady as she appears to be in her beautiful photos!
Teral McDowell: If you’ve ever read one of her posts and wished that you could just reach over and give her a hug. She’s the same way in person. I took advantage of that and got several hugs from this dear friend.
Deb Brooks: Just like her blog, Debra is high energy, positive and just plain fun! And let’s not leave out VERY funny! I love to laugh!
I could go on and on about all the wonderful people that I met that I will soon be subscribed too. But I don’t want to push it over the 500 word thing that Bob talked about.
What’s that you ask?!
GO TO RAINCAMP! Ask Bob! He’ll tell ya!
Who knows what else you’ll get from him when you go! 0:O)
We got a GREAT laugh!
