81 Comments on RainCamp Dallas - DAY 2 Was THE BEST!
Joni, I'm SO JEALOUS!!! I keep trying to bribe the powers that be at Active Rain to hold one here in Scottsdale, AZ. I LOVE to cook and have promised them all a great home cooked meal. Maybe I need to up my bribe, LOL.
I'm so glad you learned even more, got to network and meet some people live and in person, AND have fun. I'm looking forward to attending my first Raincamp - if they'll come to Scottsdale, LOL.
Joni you are so sweet, beautiful and smart. We had a blast in Dallas and now we're all finally home....in the rain....literally!
Joni - congratulations on this feature - and you are sooooo right - Dallas Rain Camp was a blast! I live in the area and hurried home the first day because we knew the storms were coming. I can not imagine why anyone would not come back the second day as the first day was good enough to assure me i did not want to miss anything. I enjoyed the second day more also. Great people and great material!

Joni, lucky, lucky, LUCKY you...attending 2 Rain Camps in the past 6 months! I'm still hoping to attend my first one soon, but thanks for the sneak preview on what a Rain Camp is like. :)
Glad to hear things are still going well for AR. Looking forward to RainCamp in Orlando this summer. Learning is a continous process, AR is the best community for "down in the trenches" experiences.
Glad you enjoyed it, I love the photos. Best part of Raincamp is meeting the people IRL.
Glad it was focused on how to improve your blogging, that is why most folks go to learn more indepth teaching on blogging.
Ann: Laughing about the 450 thing, We also discussed CHANGE! Guess that changed too! *snicker! :O)
Richard: I wish you could have been there too! :)))
Thank you Debbie. I'm glad you enjoyed it too!!
Loreena: I think you and Mike would have liked it too. I'm a newbie, but I think experienced bloggers would have gained from it as well!
Gita: As soon as I get back to DSL I am going to tell you about Steve's presentation! And then some tips from Bob!
Rob: I hope that you can too!
Kathleen: Thanks! I had good subjects! ;)
Dorie: It was a blast!
Joshua: Day 1 was packed - Day 2 we lost a lot of folks -- and they saved the very best for the last. :(
Paula: It was my pleasure. I'll be coming to see you in The Woodlands soon! :O))) Love you too!
Dawn: I loved Agent Reboot! I got to attend that last year!
Mike: I was hoping to get to meet you and Loreena, so I missed y'all not being there! :( Maybe next time!
Cheryl: I am so glad that I made it a priority and scheduled those days as booked!

I was lucky enough to attend Rain Camp in Atlantic City! Thanks for sharing your Dallas Camp with us. It was so great to meet folks I'd only met online and I learned so much! I look forward to reading more from the folks you mentioned!

Joni,
I went to the 2 days Raincamp in Atlantic City,NJ! Both days were fabulous! I learned soooo much,as I'm sure you did!
Joni--This was a very tantalizing post! I just can't wait for October/Chicago Rain Camp. Will finally get to meet the family and learn the secrets!! I REALLY enjoyed this post and your pictures. Definitely gold star worthy!!
Joni, sounds like a lot of fun and great information, but I'll have to wait until they come to my neck of the woods.
If you are on AR, you must attend the Raincamp. Great value and no pushing you to buy anything, good information from serious people who love to share their experiences and knowledge. Last time they were in my area I was there, next time they come... I will be there again! Yes, Joni, tell us what you learned while there... good blogging material I am sure.
Antonio
What do you learn? what's the best information you got out of it?
Joni,
So glad you had such a great time and learned so much on top of it! I went the 2nd one they ever had and was not really very engaged yet so didn't recognize or know anyone yet. I can't wait to go again when it gets close to me!
Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing!
Joni, it is great highlight of the Dallas Rain Camp. I am jealous that you got to meet Karen Otto in person. I also remember having a brief conversation with Marilyn Boudreau at the Houston Rain Camp. I asked her if her name in Cindy, and she said "No, but it is nice to meet you" LOL
Joni - I can't wait to try out day 2 of the new and improved Rain Camp.
Joni - Make RainCamp sound like I better get on a plane and get to one! Have been told they do not hold them in Hawaii so will have to travel the great blue! You touched on some hot topics for me that would make it worth it. Have a safe Memorial Day weekend.
I am sorry I missed it and can't wait to see your posts on some of the things you learned! Thanks! pippa
