May 26 is vvolunteer trash pickup day in Ozark, MO. Organized by the public works department, the city is challenging its citizens to scour the countryside and rid the roadways of trash and debris.

Free bags are being provided and these bags hopefully full of roadside trash will be picked up the next day by the city's trash hauling service.

I'll be honest. I take a lot of pride in Ozark. Our city park looks like it came right out of a book on Americana. I hope this day set aside to beautify our city is a huge success.

This sounds like a program that would benefit any comminty Billi. I've never been to Ozark, but I'm sure it is a clean and tribute to those volunteers.

Billi...sounds like a good town spring cleaning. I would think that would be helpful in most communities.
