Canton, Michigan New Dog Park

One of the great things about  living in Canton, Michigan is the great offering of parks. Heritage Park may be the biggest park in the Township, but the Dog Park is the newest. Canton Township, Michigan recently opened the Dog Park which officially opened May 20th, 2011. The Canton Dog Park is located in the Cherry Hill Village Preservation Park.

The park features off-the-leash fun for your four legged friends in a six acre fenced park. Dog Park

 

 

Dog License Fee: First time registration fee is $5
Dog License Renewal Fee: $5 before April 1; or $10 on or after April 1.
Must have current copy of required vaccinations.

Dog Park Memberships:

  • $25 for an annual Resident membership
  • $50 for an annual Non-Resident membership
  • Up to 3 dogs per household
  • Requires a current dog license for each animal
  • Vaccinations required: current Rabies, DHLPP

Hi Scott - Nice localism post! We've just gotten a dog park here in Shelton, CT, too. While I don't have a dog, it's fun to see all those who do having a great time with their dogs there.

Yes, parks give a value to the area. Our city has a lot of them.  It is why more people are moving in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.
