Montgomery  County Pa . Year to Date Market Snapshot for Condo sales.

 

I looked up Trendmls for information about condos sold in Montgomery  County. Here is the report : It is subject to errors and omissions and does not include homes not listed.

YTD April 2009 YTD April 2010 YTD April '11

Settled units       159      203            176

Average settled price $194,000 $214,000 $197,000

Prices are higher than they were in 2009 , but lower than last year.

The home buyer tax credit helped sales in April 2010.

Sounds like homes are selling but the prices are low compared to previous years.

It is a good time to buy because prices are low and rates are low.
