America's servicemen and women will take center stage Nov.12th when Fullerton American Legion Post 142, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 11390 and the Fullerton Emblem Club 469 host the 20th Annual Fullerton Veteran's Day Parade and Ceremony.
The parade will begin at 10:30 am in the Downtown Plaza, located on Wilshire Avenue, east of Harbor Boulevard and adjacent to the Fullerton Museum Center, and will end at Hillcrest Park, which is located at the intersection of Harbor and Valley View Drive.
Upon arrival at Hillcrest Park, a ceremony will be held at 11:00 am at the Veterans Memorial. Guest speaker will be Maj.Gen. Paul E. Mock, commander of the 63rd Regional Readiness Command at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base.
All veterans are welcome to join in the parade, which will feature ROTC units from area high schools and from California State University, Fullerton.
The ceremony will include the placement of wreaths at the Veterans Memorial, as well as the playing of "Taps."
