We spent some time at the park today since the weather was so beautiful. Afterwards, it was "that" time and by "that" time, I mean 'grocery time'. Most of the time, I purchase my groceries from Valet Grocery in Baton Rouge but I was craving something special so I just followed my taste buds. We were in the store for about an hour and as we made it outside, I could see the sun beginning to set and noticed something unusual...the clouds. There were absolutely no clouds in the east as they all seemed to gather on the opposite side. I have never, in my life, witnessed clouds like this before. They were so 'up close and personal', it seemed as if you could reach out and touch them. They were incredibly fluffy and if I didn't know better...I would have sworn they were touching the ground. I drove out of the parking lot in amazement while staring at the fluff nuggets and looking like a fool trying to snap a picture.

Very unusual clouds - they almost look like they are painted on the sky.

Wow, I'm impressed you got that photo! We had some clouds this week in Austin that looked just like that and all I could think was how to capture them and still retain the details. Nice job!
