It's Memorial Day Weekend! Let's Celebrate our Soldiers!
There is no time like the present to Honor our men and women in Uniform.
Those active, those inactive and those who are no longer with us.
So fly the flag as you picnic with friends and family or cook your hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill this weekend.
Remember WHY you call it Memorial Day!

Memorial Day is so much more than hotdogs and hamburgers with red or green chili. It is a day I remember thinking about high school friends who went to Vietnam and never came back, cousins who fought in Kuwait, clients who are now in Afghanistan and many of the soldiers I photographed while behind the camera. It is a day to truly say thank you for all their sacrifices.
Hi Connie, Memorial Day means a lot to us veterans. I am glad to see more Americans taking the time to pay tribute to our men and women in uniform. This weekend is Special since we take a moment of silence to remember those brave warriors who are no longer with us today. God Bless America!!
Believe it or not, I don't even HAVE an American Flag....sad, right?
Need to fix that problem.

Emily - I didn't know anyone in Vietnam, but have had many relatives who fought in WWII and many with family in the wars now. Happy Memorial Day to you!
