COnnie: SO true... we could not be here if it wasn't for their dedication..
I am enjoying this Memorial Day so much more than I have those in the past. I have found a renewed appreciation for our servicemen and women. Go to uso.org to see how we all can help!
Connie, All of us owe all of them a lot! I love seeing all the flags flying this weekend!
Connie
Thank you for remembering
From a Marine Dad
Gay - You're absolutely right. Sometimes we don't give them enough thought.
Chris - Thanks for the link. I'll go check it out!
Amen -- so many have sacrificed everything, so that we have things like Summer bar-b-ques.
Never forget.
thanks!
Eric
Joyce - I do too. I love how the town puts them on every light post!
Kim - My pleasure, I assure you.
Memorial Day is so much more than hotdogs and hamburgers with red or green chili. It is a day I remember thinking about high school friends who went to Vietnam and never came back, cousins who fought in Kuwait, clients who are now in Afghanistan and many of the soldiers I photographed while behind the camera. It is a day to truly say thank you for all their sacrifices.
Hi Connie, Memorial Day means a lot to us veterans. I am glad to see more Americans taking the time to pay tribute to our men and women in uniform. This weekend is Special since we take a moment of silence to remember those brave warriors who are no longer with us today. God Bless America!!
Believe it or not, I don't even HAVE an American Flag....sad, right?
Need to fix that problem.
Connie- I try to thank all service people I see... where would be be without them and those who've served before.
Eric - You're so right. Remembering them is the least we can do.
Emily - I didn't know anyone in Vietnam, but have had many relatives who fought in WWII and many with family in the wars now. Happy Memorial Day to you!
Jerry - God Bless You and the many, many more in uniform!
We have a nice parade here in Canton MA. I hope you are enjoying the day Connie.
Christine - I showed a foreclosure and a rental then took the day off. I hope you enjoyed the day!
Remembering them today and when ever we see them! God Bless the men and women that have served this country and given all for our freedoms.
Lee and Carol - I couldn't agree with you more!
