Pay it Forward - Donations for Joplin Missouri

I am sure by now that many of you are aware of the terrible destruction and devastation caused by tornadoes in the Joplin Missouri area. Many families lost love ones, their homes and personal belongings in this disaster. I have seen a couple of our very own Active Rain members reaching out to support these families in Joplin Missouri.

See Tammy Emineth’s post about “Do You have a Plan If the Worst Happens?” Also, Karen Hawkins wrote in a recent post “Thoughts for People of Joplin, Missouri”. Keller Williams International through KW Cares has also setup a way for our agents to make some contributions to those families in Joplin, Missouri. I decided the best way for me to offer my support was by making a donation to KW Cares and also texting “Convoy” to 50555.

You may send a check payable to KW Cares and in the memo line specify “Joplin.” If you prefer to donate via credit card, please click here and complete the accompanying form. In the box labeled "This Donation is For" please indicate Joplin, Mo.

You may wish to support and make donations too. The local Red Cross is also taking donations at 1.800.RED.CROSS. Karen Hawkins provided some links in her post too for more information on supporting and making donations.

Yes, Belinda. That's one the things that I have always loved about Keller Williams. Creating KW Cares and supporting fellow agents has been a great cause for us, since we have many agents, who have been affected my these disasters this year.
