Changing our Mindset...

Here are some suggestions on how to change our mindset.  To get rid of old, limiting programming, we have to constantly and consistently put new ideas into our minds. New ways of thinking create positive and powerful new habits to live by. The key to creating a new mindset is staying consistent and repetitious in our new ways of thinking.  Trying this out, once in a while, really doesn't do much good.  We are trying to create a new paradigm that is replacing our old.  Concentration on our new mindset once or twice a day is fairly ineffective if the rest of our day is taken up with thoughts of fear or doubt.

It is not the thoughts that come and go that create our mindset and our destiny it's the habitual thoughts, the consistent thoughts, the thoughts we repetitiously plant into our subconscious that become reality in our lives. We can use affirmation and meditation to do this, but making our new mindset a habit also takes discipline, commitment and PRACTICE.

This is why the power of the will in our conscious mind is one of our greatest gifts. If we recognize our negative thinking, we can stop and say "No" to those thoughts. Stop the thought and replace it with a positive one.  We must repeat our new thoughts over and over if necessary.  It's the key to a new way of thinking and a happier and healthier way of life!
