Board of Directors Meeting The resident forum portion of the meeting will begin at 7:00 PM through 7:20 PM. All residents interested in addressing the Board must sign up online at http://www.lansdownehoa.com/ and click on the Resident Services tab, then click on Sign Up For Resident Forum. Residents may also sign up at the Potomac Club front desk prior to the meeting date. You must be signed up to speak before 5:00 PM the day of the Board meeting. Residents who sign up will each have three minutes to address the Board during the resident forum.
2011 Lansdowne on the Potomac Summer Concert Love Seed Mama Jump Love Seed Mama Jump is a six-piece rock band from Dewey Beach, Delaware. Their music is described as guitar-driven pop rock -- a blend of modern beats and melodic hooks delivered with powerful, impassioned vocals. LSMJ has released 5 CD's and sold over 100,000 copies independently. Their music has been featured on MTV, ESPN, ABC, and Microsoft's X-Box Project Gotham Racing video game. Rocco's NY Pizza & Subs (www.roccosny.com) will be on location selling a selection of their fine pizza, so don't worry about dinner beforehand. Just pack-up a cooler with your favorite beverages, grab a blanket and chair, and bring your whole family for an evening of fun and entertainment! In accordance with ABC licensing guidelines, you must bring proof of identification if you plan on consuming alcohol during the concert. This event is open to Lansdowne on the Potomac residents and their guests only. Residents are not permitted to enter or exit the concert with open containters of alcohol.Please also remember that no pets are permitted during the Amphitheater Summer Concert Series.
Potomac Club Hip Hop Class - Larry Owensel is a Fitness Master Trainer/Master Choreographer with a 6th degree black belt in Shotokan Karate, 3rd degree black in Tae Kwon Do, past Marine Corps Senior Drill Instructor and has even choreographed for Britney Spears! IT'S BACK!!!! REDUCED PRICING- now $10 per adult (ages 15 and older), $5 per child (ages 5-14) and children 4 and under are FREE. ALCOHOL WILL BE PERMITTED- bring your own beer and wine only, no glass containers. Yes, the rumors you heard are true! The Activities Committee is bringing back the pool party with a few new twists. This year's event will be held Saturday, June 4th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Potomac Club. Let's celebrate the beginning of summer and enjoy swimming in the pools, great food and socializing with your friends and neighbors. Enjoy an old fashioned cookout brought to you by Smokin Willy BBQ featuring some barbeque favorites such as hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork and BBQ chicken. Side dishes include baked beans, corn bread and cole slaw. Cookies and other sweet snacks will be available in the lower lounge. Your admission includes BBQ, non-alcoholic beverages, DJ and lots of beach balls, floats and pool games. Adventures in Kayaking - Saturday, June 18th 9:00 AM - Noon (Group I) - - - SOLD OUT!! Are you looking for a new adventure? The Activities Committee is partnering with Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) to bring this activity to your own backyard. This event will be great for a parent/child activity or those wishing to learn a new sport, residents should be able to paddle unassisted. EMS will provide safety instructions, paddle stroke technique, life jackets, kayaks and a guided tour down Goose Creek and the Potomac River. The launch will be from Kepheart Bridge Landing, 43942 Riverpoint Drive. Two sessions will be offered, 9AM and 1PM for $15 per person, space is limited.
