Niki Parekh has asked us to show what ActiveRain means to us via a collage presentation challenge. Sounds like fun! Little did I know how much time this was going to take me! LOL... that's ok - it was a fun project!
All of you that have subscribed to me and come visit my blog with your appreciative comments is what keeps me blogging here! OK then, the collage has to be about your smiling faces! Now, how do I make it different? I could just download everybody's profile photo and put something together, but no... won't do... different Craig... different!
We all know each other virtually and become friends here in the rain. It is hard to really know a person more fully if the only photo you have ever seen of them is their ONE profile photo. And moreover, we might have the inclination to post an older photo of ourselves (few less wrinkles, few less pounds hehe). I get it, but that's not us now! When you meet a client in person, we can't send the 25 year old version of ourselves! So I called on you (my subscribers) to action to help me. Send me a RECENT photo of yourself and make it something less formal... help us to have another glimpse into your world.
And so you responded! Thank you! All of you who sent in your photos are in my finished collage. Marilyn, you are the only one that didn't make it in the collage because it came in just a little too late. HOWEVER, your photo is the perfect illustration of what I wanted! So we will see yours above featured in this post!
So let me present to you my collage! The JPG below is way too small to see all the details, click on it to open it as a full resolution PDF file and then you can zoom and pan around a little! Further, I have two other things to share with you... I created a custom map of where all these smiling faces came from and I created an online photo album, where you can play the photos in a slideshow so you can see everybody that participated.
Enjoy! I know I did. :)
