What is Facebook Up to this time?

Let's think this through...Facebook as a social medium is a great substitute for television.  In the first instance, it is interactive;   TV isn't that way.  The idea of bringing television to Facebook seems to me like a strategic move, intended to advance a bigger agenda. As we all know the big players Google, Microsoft, Facebook etc, front ideas...we the users buy into them; and as we all know, whenever there is a crowd, it's a potential goldmine for all the innovators.  

Facebook has essentially redefined "friends" for all of us.   Most people do not look at the subtle ideas that are being advanced.  Maybe the users aren't as sophisticated as we are led to believe.  My friends on Facebook aren't necessarily whom I want to share the movies with.    But then again, that's just me.  

I am currently testing Facebook to see if it a good source of lead generation for my business. The verdict is still out.

I use facebook to stay connected with my sphere of influence. I don't expect any new 'leads' directly from facebook, but I do think it will help with repeat business, and will be one of the tools that helps my friends refer customers to me
