One of the first posts written by Nikesh Parekh was announcing a new competition. I read it, and decided I was too busy to do this at the time. I love entering the challenges and competitions so I went back to it in a few days and decided to just do it!
Niki's Collage Competion: What Does ActiveRain Mean to You? included the rules along with an excellent "how to" and suggested programs to produce our collages. I quickly discovered that Niki was trying to push and shove us a bit to actually learn something new! Perhaps most of you already knew how to produce a collage, but I did not have a clue. Besides that, exactly what would knowing how to produce a collage help me in my business? BINGO! I am already including this in some of my marketing....thanks, Niki for the shove! BTW - it is not that hard!
Now to fit a collage into what ActiveRain means to me! I have promoted my listings, The Barbara Hensley Collection, in my signature frames for over 13 years. Each one of my listings is special to me and receives top priority and First Class Service, regardless of price. Barbara's Brag Book is evidence of how special each listing is to me. I began to think about what is special to me in ActiveRain and quickly realized that it is all about THE PEOPLE! The people make my days sing in the Rain!
