What with the NAR touting the 30 under 30 stars, I wondered what makes them so great? What about the rest of us codgers? The ones with tons of experience?
Rather, than get mad, I am getting even.
I can tell you what makes me feel like I am still a kid. When I can sit on the floor and still put both feet up over my thighs....it amazed grownups when I was little. Now it amazes youngsters now that I am older!
Eating a hot dog....when I was young, I really didn't like hamburgers and was silently disappointed at cookouts that didn't have hot dogs. I soldiered on and ate what I was given without whining or throwing a fit as I see many children do these days.
I still feel like a kid when I color signs....it is really the only appropriate time that I get to work with markers or whatever other medium in art I feel like.
When I can just sit in the garden with my dogs and be pretending to weed and just enjoy them and the sunshine and my flowers.
What makes you feel as if you are still young?
I will be fascinated to read these...I might even find some new activities to enjoy.
