Memorial Day Salute by Silvia Dukes Memorial Day Services in Spring Hill, Florida

The annual Memorial Day Services in Spring Hill, Florida will take place on

Monday, May 30th, 2011,

11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill.

This is an annual event that is organized by the VFW Post 10209 in Spring Hill and Turner Funeral Homes.

Each year, this Memorial Day commemoration draws a big crowd of attendees honoring those who have served and fallen for their country.

Good localism post, Silvia. One of the cemetaries is holding a similar event. There are also parades. Our marina held its annual opening day ceremony with tribute to our military.

Mary, our next National cemetary is a good drive from here so it's nice that these services are being held locally as well. We don't have parades for Memorial Day but we have one for Veteran's Day in November.
