I was playing with the focus of my camera today and came up with this photo. It was not in my original plan to shoot this but there was something intriguing about it for me, the juxtaposition and beauty of the dying in the forefront, against a backdrop of lush and live.
This is straight from my camera, no photo enhancement of any kind. My camera has become my constant companion. I want so to learn to take great photos, like so many I see here. Maybe one day.
I had my camera today, and was able to catch a snake on the path while hiking... so cool! Great thoughts behind this shot too!
Geri--When I see shots like this, I look at the colors and think what a nice print that would be for fabric. I have not doubt that we are going to see some great pictures from you---everything you do has a special flare to it! I can't wait!
I agree, very intriguing photo Geri..............you already take marvelous photos, you're a perfectionist.
Geri - One of the things that I seem to notice more in the last few years, is how much beauty dwells in places we pass by, or overlook. Your picture here, is an example of that.
