11 Comments on Memorial Day . . Never Forget, Never Forget!
Great compilation here Ed. Thanks to all those who served. May we never forget the sacrifice they made so that we may enjoy the freedoms we all too often take for granted.
Ed ~ This was a great email we received from one of our clients that depicts multiple ways to reflect the meaning of Memorial Day ~ Love what you chose to use and reflect on ~
Hey, Ed, did you catch any of the Byron Nelson yesterday? The replaced all of the flag pins with actual US flags. At each hole, there was a military person to man the flag/pins. I thought it was a great tribute.
I'm sorry your golf was rained out - hopefully, the weather will clear out in time for the barbecue!!
I like your photos and your words - great job to honor those who gave so much.
Ed -- Outstanding post on Memorial Day. Freedom is not FREE.....and you're right....it's the highest price of all. Thank you and everyone in your family for your service to this great country.
Ed, you have compiled all great pictures and quotes. (color alert is great one - along with Thanksgiving Day and Memorial Day definition.)
Happy Memorial Day...
Ed, not only did your golf tournament get rained out, but many Memorial Day Parades as well. Even if those events could not go on, our gratitude for our brave young men and women who have served and continue to serve our country will not be rained out.
Sorry you got rained out Ed, but thankful you are here to be rained on! Thank you and your family members for serving. Nicely thought out post Ed we suggested it for its heartfelt sentiment.
What a uper post, Ed for Memorial day. Wow, the cartoon w/ the hot dogs, gas and tombstones eally puts things into perspective.
Craig, the price for freedom is something that should never be taken for granted or forgotten, thanks for stopping
Frank & Karen that was a rather extensive email and will probably be sent around next year as well, and the message is always the same, lest we forget. Thanks for stopping
Juli, I didn't catch the golf tournament but that was great that the pins were Real flags, and not golf flags.
Barbara, thanks for stopping
Hi Praful, thanks for the recognition and for stopping
George, it was an ugly morning for weather, but some parades were not canceledso that was a good thing.
Hi A & P, my military duty was great for me as I never left the states, which in 1971 was not easy to do. Thanks for the thought.
Rene, nice thoughts and sentiments. Thanks for stopping
Hi Debbie, that cartoon was a stopper for me especially when we try to put all things in proper perspective. Thanks for stopping
Very nicely put together Ed. Too bad your game got rained out. Hope the weather cleared up for your family bbq.
