Enjoying The Ozarks on 2 Wheels this past weekend. Our oldest son was in town for the holiday weekend and it made a great excuse to get out and Ride!
We rode with him yesterday as he made his way back home to central Arkansas. The Dam in the photo is The Norfork Dam which is on the North Fork River and was built by the Army Corp of Engineers in the late 1940s.
The reason for the water release is that the Lake is at flood level. The Lake is open and people are enjoying fun on the water. The Rivers are also open to fishermen (people) as well as boaters.
For Enjoying The Ozarks on 2 Wheels The Mountain Home area offers some of the best scenery and riding roads in the country! Oh,....The views are pretty from a car too.
