The market is back providing your chance to buy fresh and "Cottonwood local" fruits, vegetables, etc. every Friday, 3-7 p.m. I continue to marvel at the vitality of Cottonwood. The community growth has outpaced Shasta County over the last decade. However, don't let that stop you. There is still room for a few more nice people.

By the way: the Cottonwood Farmer's Market & Fair is held at ETC Mercantile, 3308 Main St. Call 530-347-6637 for further information, including how to become a vendor.

Cottonwood's Farmer's Market is a part of the California Certified Farmer's Market Program.

I know our deer throughly enjoy ANYTHING we grow in the backyard. We'll see if anything changes this year. Meanwhile we're headed to checkout the variety at the Farmer's Market no Friday.
