Words of wisdom from Canada's favorite handyman, Bryan Baeumler.  This article, special to the Toronto Star, deals with the issue of renovations in older homes and how best to handle the job of removing a wall to open up a space without compromising the structure. 

I had the pleasure of meeting Bryan at our conference last year.  He was a guest speaker and helped us kick off our fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer Canada.

Sandi:  There is some very good information and cautions in that article.   I love Bryan's shows where he helps those poor helpless owners finish a job they should never have started.   His sarcasm is biting but fabulous.
