QR Codes are AMAZING! I was so excited when I saw this challenge because I am a true believer in the use of QR Codes in my marketing. It is a great way to link to a website or tour for more information for your clients.

Here are just a few places that I use QR Codes...

  • RE/MAX Listing Signs - I print a large QR Code linking to virtual tour, laminate and velcro to sign.
  • Listing Flyers - QR Code links to Virtual Tour Link on Tour Factory.
  • Monthy Coupon Postcards mailed to clients - QR Code links to my website. See image below.
  • Monthly Magazine mailed to clients - QR Code links to my website.
  • Blogs - http://kcmclaughlin.wordpress.com
  • Social Media - Facebook, Active Rain, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Event Flyers - Open House, First Time Home Buyer's Seminar
  • Business Cards - QR Code printed on back links to my website. See image below.

I could go on and on!

The QR Code on my listing flyer is linked to the virtual tour link on Tour Factory.

Great post!  I think many consumers are just now figuring out that these can be used for scanning and getting information.  Many don't know that they have to download to their phones.  But you are smart to embrace the technology.

It probably wouldn't hurt all of us to do a mailing or newsletter to our clients, Facebook friends and others to tell them about them!!

Thanks Debbie! The response from my clients has been amazing. When I hand my business card out to new contacts they think I am so tech-saavy - and they have all of my information from my website on their phone to copy to their database.

I've got them on my signs and they're programmable so that I can send them to the whichever listing it relates to.  Love all your uses.

I love the business card. Did you get the QR code from Mainstreet?

Tracy,

I generated the QR Code from one of the free ones on the internet... http://qrcode.kaywa.com/ I then enhanced it using http://www.picnik.com/. It links to my RE/MAX website at www.KCMcLaughlin.com but you can link it to most anything! Thanks for the comment -- have a great day!
