9 Comments on Utilizing QR Codes in Marketing - Kodak/ Active Rain June Mobile Marketing Challenge
Great post! I think many consumers are just now figuring out that these can be used for scanning and getting information. Many don't know that they have to download to their phones. But you are smart to embrace the technology.
It probably wouldn't hurt all of us to do a mailing or newsletter to our clients, Facebook friends and others to tell them about them!!
Thanks Debbie! The response from my clients has been amazing. When I hand my business card out to new contacts they think I am so tech-saavy - and they have all of my information from my website on their phone to copy to their database.
KC i may have already sent this to you, however I agree, be a little creative a dress up the code
Myers - That is a riot! Definitely more interesting when you dress up the QR Code. Thanks for sharing - have a great day!
This is a great example KC. Thanks!
Great post KC! I am impressed with the various ways that you are utilizing them....show that you are very tech savvy!
I've got them on my signs and they're programmable so that I can send them to the whichever listing it relates to. Love all your uses.
I love the business card. Did you get the QR code from Mainstreet?
Tracy,
I generated the QR Code from one of the free ones on the internet... http://qrcode.kaywa.com/ I then enhanced it using http://www.picnik.com/. It links to my RE/MAX website at www.KCMcLaughlin.com but you can link it to most anything! Thanks for the comment -- have a great day!
