12 Comments on Toyota's Movie Night at Cincinnati's Fountain Square Sunday Nights through August 28 2011
Okay ...I have seen Inception twice now, and still don't quite get it! Guess I will have to give it another chance, Too bad I can't see it on the Big Screen at Fountain Square!
That is a great lineup of movies, many I haven't seen yet. Love, Love, Love "How to Train Your Dragon"!
Amy, Only saw Inception once, and can I say I'm totally sure of the ending? Nope! How to Train has been running on one of our movie channels alot lately, keep finding myself stopping and watching, and that's WITHOUT any kids wanting to watch!
Beautiful fountain!!! I see your movies are a bit more advanced that the ones on the Carolina Beach schedule. Couldn't find a single young chick's flick! We just found out yesterday that Wrightsville Beach has decided to cancel their Movies in the Park for this year -- very disheartening!
The Liz Spear Team is always "in the know" in Cincinnati!!!
Tish, That fountain is a centerpiece of downtown Cincy and a LONG history with the city. A few years ago underwent an extensive renovation (there's a LOT of plumbing underneath) and they also relocated it a bit!
Surprised your area canx their movies. Overall, I'd think it would be a relatively inexpensive production for a city to put on. The one here has several major sponsors, so I'd guess it's not ultimately costing Cincinnati government to put this on.
That is one beautiful fountain! I thought it was a picture of Vegas for a minute :)! Looks like a great place to spend some time and watch a movie and just relax! Too cool!
Brenda, I'd say that fountain is the crown jewel of Cincinnati's downtown. Say Fountain Square here and people know what you're talking about :)
The return of the outdoor theater, and what a good idea for a family to get out and do something together.
Glenn, Hard to beat the opportunity. Only expense is parking and treats! Beats paying the obscene first run movie prices at the theater.
Hi Bliz, What a great way to enjoy a Sunday movie. Fountain Square has a nice selection of movies too. I am sure folks will enjoy their Sunday evenings out in Fountain Square.
Jerry, It sounds like a fun lineup, and all are family friendly, although thinking Inception may need a few bleeps!
BLiz, That is such a unique program for Cincinnati. I am intrigued…
Paul, I was looking and they seem to have something going on at Fountain Square more nights than not all summer long.
