9 Comments on Long Island New York | Is It Time For "Moving On Up"
Your headline IS true. If you have equity in your existing home, and can afford to sell it competitively, there are some really good deals to be had.
An even happier is the buyer who is renting and has no house to move. They can readily take advantage of today's market.
High inventory? I'll bet that it's like here. Higher in some price ranges and lower in others. Regardless, as you say, it is a wonderful opportunity for move-up buyers!
Good Morning Larry and Sheila,
It's better to buy now before the 'tempory loan limits' get removed by October 1, 2011; the rule is going to make a huge impact on financing homes in the $900,000 range
Sheila and Larry - my parents own a summer home in cutchogue, Long Island on Nassau Point - what a beautiful area and it looks out at the Great Peconic Bay. Long Island is a beautiful place to live and raise a family! I try to get out there as many weekends as possible away for all the hustle and bustle of my area! Love the peaceful and beautiful surroundings!
Larry & Sheila, THAT is a home to move up to! It is a great time to sell if you plan to move up, as you will benefit by the value & interest rates!
