Mowing and Beer Drinking in O'Fallon, Illinois

I have never been on a riding lawn mower, much less ridden one while mowing, but I heard that it makes mowing much easier.  I am not a beer drinker, but I heard that it tastes great, and less filling, especially on a hot day. I imagine after mowing the lawn in the O'Fallon, Illinois summer heat, like today's weather of 94° a cold beer has to be very refreshing.

Now we all know that if you shake a can of soda, or beer for that matter, funny things happen. I heard that if you are mowing on a riding lawn mower and put your beer in the cup holder, the beer gets shaken up and when you drink it, it tastes flat in no time at all, with all the shaking and engine vibration. Oh no!

If you ask me about beer and riding lawnmowers, I don't have any firsthand experience. But if you are interested in homes with beautiful lots to mow with your shiny riding lawn mower with a beer holder in the O'Fallon, Illinois area, let me help you!

Yolanda, I would suggest that the lawn mower driver drink the beer and then get on the machine.  :)

Hi Yolanda, If you have a yard a riding lawn mower saves time.  As for the beer if you were mowing my yard you would get too much dust in it.  Have a great time selling Real Estate in O'Fallon!

Howdy and evening to you Yolanda

Yolanda, I have not ever owned or used a riding mower, I also sure not know about beer and a riding mower first hand either. I have always used the old Cylinder Rotary Blades kind of mower.

Have a good one

Yolanda: What a great lead-in to your blog. I'm not a beer drinker, but I do have a riding mower, but I'm careful to keep both hands on the wheel. Next time you sell a house, in your gift basket give them a little brochure on lawn mower safety. No drinking and driving.

Yolanda, if the yard in question is the one pictured, I might need 3 12 ouncers and a 7-gang mower behind the John Deere.  The beers will be on ice for when I finish, especially if you want my passes to be that straight.

Good evening, Arleen. Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Have a great wedding, too! :)

Hi, Virginia. I would suggest that too, no mowing while drinking or vice versa. It's not good to waste good beer. lol

Hello, Phil! I'm sure dusty beer is just as bad as flat beer. lol Thanks for dropping by! :)

Hi, Dale! That kind of lawnmower lasts a long time, and you mow a long time, too. Tee hee :)

Hello, C&C! I'm sure they have a brochure for that... but I think the brochure comes with a new riding lawn mower. It won't fit in the gift basket. lol

Good evening, Kevin. I require straight passes, so the beer has to wait. lol

Yolanda - nice, and unexpected segway. As an owner of a riding mower, and having experienced a few beers in my life, I will say that I don't drink and mow. But, my diet sodas do get a bit shaken up while mowing.

Yolanda, It's probably a good idea to save the suds after the mowing is done. Also gives an incentive to finish a bit quicker.

Glad to see you still blogging..day 4 in June.

I've heard that drinking and driving, even a lawn mower, is illegal out here, but I can also tell you that mowing the lawn on a riding mower is fun, fun, fun.

Hi, Eric. I just leave that kind of fun to the lawn service guy since it's just too hot and humid here. :)

Good morning! A fine day in O'Fallon, Illinois -- 80 degrees and rising, with today's high of 89! :)

Hi, Mike! We went through three riding lawn mowers since we moved here, but not any more. We just have a service do it for us. So I'll never ride one now. lol I would think soda will get flat just as quickly. :)

Hello, Margaret! Or take frequent breaks to refresh the taste 'Bud.' :) Yes, I'm taking it a day at a time. Thanks for checking up on me. lol
