"Home Staging Tips ~ Does Your Home Have A Grand Entrance?"

Does your home have a Grand Entrance...  and draw a buyer into the rest of your home?  Does it say Welcome Home... come on in and stay awhile.  Well it should!  Statistics show that a buyer will form an opinion about your home within 10 seconds! 

What does your home say to the buyers the minute they walk in the door?  You want to entice them in and draw them into and around each corner of your home...  allow buyers to want to see more....  keep them lingering.  Let them want to sit down and enjoy each room and envision themselves living there!

Here are a few examples of a home that we Staged that show how to create a Grand Entrance and draw a buyer in!

Once your buyers walk in the door...  can they see themselves living inside your home?

Here we enhanced the beautiful windows and lead you straight to the fireplace with proper furniture placement!

Whenever possible angle your furniture to create a triangle ~ triangles create a sense of calmness and peacefulness!

Use warm colors such as Red, Orange and Yellows (colors of the sun) to create warmth!

Keep Rooms looking open and airy!

Put items of interest on the counter tops but don't over do it...  allows the buyers to see useful space!

Fruit Bowls on the Counter Tops show a positive sign of health and well being!

Colorful Decor pieces bring added interest!

It's important to show the purpose of every single room in your home ~ This room was considered an office because there was no closet and it had two glass french doors for the entrance to the room!

Master Bedroom ~ Allow your buyers to enter the Master Bedroom and feel like this room is just for them...  no distractions.  Also keep the  window treatments open and allow them to be drawn to the backyard showing an extention of the room!

During a showing or an Open House leave all the all lights on even in the Bathrooms and Closets.

Rather than plain white walls put something of interest in the closet...  shopping bags or small pieces of luggage that could resemble shopping for new clothes for traveling on a wonderful vacation!

Around every corner is there something of interest to see?

Master Bath ~ Can She see herself sitting at the Vanity and pampering herself with a facial or Spa Treatment?

Master Bath ~ Can you see yourself soaking in the Jacuzzi tub?

Does your Home have a Grand Entrance that leads the buyers through the Door?

INTERESTING NOTE:  The Homeowner of this Home asked us to not place one nail, hook, or 3M hanger anywhere in this freshly painted Vacant home.  Did you notice there is not one picture hung in this house?  We wanted to point this out because there maybe some limitations when preparing your Home for Sale...  but don't let that stop you from creating a desirable atmosphere that buyer's fall in love with!
