Marilyn, like your area, Arizona's patio areas are such focal points of the home. Great suggestions.
Marilyn, Aren't outdoor spaces wonderful? We enjoy our outdoor "rooms" as much as any other room. Your pointers are terrific. Gives me some additional information to work with this season. Thanks for sharing. Love the photos!
Thanks Kathleen, we want to stain our concrete and I am eyeing that fleur d lis design just love it! I already have some brick pavers in place
Juli- thats because our climate allows us to enjoy the outside but only if its cool enough to enjoy with ceiling fans or screened in porch LOL Its pretty HOT if you don't have a patio/room
Marilyn,
Ah that is why my wife and I are having our patio put in this summer. Last year we put the addition on the back of the home over where the old patio was. So this year we are having the new much larger patio put in. We already have all the furniture for our outdoor living space. I even hung an antique cast iron chandelier from the large tree giving us shade. It is on a pulley so that it can be raised and lowered to light the candles.
Larry, I love the idea of the chandelier how cool is that great spot to sit and sip a cool drink :)
Our patio is the top place we all spend time during the summer. We're out there for dinner most days of the week and spend more time just sitting, reading, watching the wildlife, and talking.
Outdoor living spaces are the rage here. We love ours too. Great post for this time of year.
Wow ... that concrete is absolutely Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!! pippa
