Tile flooring can be stylish and practical for your home in Hartsdale NY 10530. A week ago, I had the pleasure of revisiting one of my customer's homes in Hartsdale NY. This is the 2nd job that he does with us after his timborana hardwood floors (which still look stunning).
He has been redoing his entire kitchen...taking that bland dated galley kitchen with vinyl floors and laminate cabinets to sleek and stylish. It's quite amazing to see the transformation. (I should have taken a "before" picture.)
He had chosen maple cabinets with a warm stain - a mid-toned brown with dherry undertones. They are quite striking. I found some really chic tiles for him - they have a metallic look (and he wanted some gray (since that color was in the silestone he chose), but he also wanted them to bring out the warm tones of the cabinets and have a modern flair. So, this what I found for him.
We installed the tile in a brick lay, which just looks so much more interesting vs. a straight lay. i love this layout as it adds flair without adding a lot of cost.
I can't wait until he does the backsplash which will also carry out this bricklay design. We have 2 options. the one I'd prefer to see thim do is with a natural stone subway tile and a really cool glass/tumbled stone border which is the PERFECT color for his cabinets. I hope he chooses this one beause it's so perfect and I want to take pictures and blog about it.
