Fall is in the air....look who showed up!

With Fall at hand in Central Texas, a slight chill in the air, and harvest of the local crops in Bastrop County in full swing,  scarecrows are beginning to pop up!  Scarecrows http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scarecrow are used to ward off birds from gardens and groves.  They are also a symbol of  the turning of the seasons.  They are fairly easy to make and take on a personality of their own.  This happy couple was seen on a front porch of a local business in Smithville, rocking in the breeze.  they look like they are still in love!
