the serial number of a loved ones weapon...

Those who want to cut the pay and benefits to our military are idiots at best, they have no grasp on what our soldiers lay on the line every day and night. Until these peace, love and granola minded takers say good-bye to a loved one and along with their good-byes decide what phrases will be used if their loved one is captured and filmed, so it will be know if that loved one is being tortured or not, and until they file away on their computers and on paper in their sock drawer the serial number of a loved ones weapon just in case, they should excuse themselves form voting on such matters and just say thank you. To some soldiering is a danger and sacrifice of another a distant other; minor surgery is surgery that someone else is having.

Many people are so clueless of what it takes and has taken, to keep America safe and independent and to be the greatest nation in human history. I don't mean to say that everyone need realize the details it takes to provide us our way of life, people need to live their lives, but, they need not pretend they know and understand they should just simply say thank you aloud, privately or in prayer and let the next generation know as well.

There is a possibility that we may draw our last breath, but, the percentage is higher for those in a war zone.

Bleeding heart decision makers put this country in danger it seems they vote with their ideology not experience or even common sense. There is no such thing as fighting a humane war and winning, soldiers need to kill more than the other side that is how wars are won; our representatives should read the "art of war" or other books on the subject. There is a saying that those who can't do teach this seems to apply more so to legislating. I respect those who teach and legislate with wisdom allowing opposing opinions without demonizing the holder of an opposite view.

Ideologues from every group put this country in danger with their blind end game. Life is a journey with an end game but the journey is our daily life and how we live it and what we think and do and how we interact and effect others is our purpose to share our lives and perspectives and show respect to those who not only know what is right but act on their convictions for the betterment of all.

I believe the biggest problem is in our execution of War.  War is not a police action, and our soldiers should not be burdened with prosecuting war as if they are gathering evidence at a crime scene, or questioning a suspect with the fear they may be intruding on their "Miranda" rights.

"Most Great Nations, at the peak of their economic power, become arrogant, wage great world wars at great cost, wasting vast resources, taking on huge debt, ultimately burning themselves out."
