The difference of a few warm days
My yard is a barometer of local weather.
We waited long, and hard, for Spring. Plant life was either stunted or non-existent until, it looks like, a day or two ago.
Now the lawn needs mowing every other day, foliage is everywhere and even strawberries are beginning to fruit. A heap of small flowers have appeared, and even two poppies have made their presence known.
I fear my wife is encouraging this proliferation by constant hand watering, as she enjoys her yard and garden once more in warmer temperatures.
In spite of this encouraging growth, a cold front with high winds has arrived again.
