"Ask not what your Real Estate Career can do for you - ask what you can do for your Real Estate Career"

The title of this blog, I must admit was paraphrased from a powerful statement made by John F. Kennedy in his presidential inaugural speech in 1961. It was a statement that changed America and still lives on today. I was then and I am still today, impressed with the speech and it deep contents.

I was reviewing the speech and I was furthered moved to rephrase a few of President Kennedy's comments , please see below:

• I do believe that the rights of an agent come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God."

       * "Let the word go forth.....that the torch has been passed to a new generation of  REALTORS

• "Let every Buyer and Seller know... that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, and oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of closing the transaction."

• "The world is very very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty "

• "Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate."

      *     "For only when our efforts to close the transaction are sufficient beyond doubt , can  we be certain beyond doubt that we shall always be employed. to assist a buyer or seller"

• "Let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking God's  blessing and His help, in that , knowing that here on earth ...God's work must truly be our own."

I did get a little off track from the message of the title of this blog. It may be best to just encourage every Realtor ..Plumber....Doctor ...Truck Driver .and whoever ... to be the best they can be. In so they will reap the rewards of their efforts..by the Grace of God !!!!
