I just wanted to share with everyone another Active Rain success story.  About six weeks ago Active Rain delivered a wonderful client to me while I was fast asleep.  She had found one of my blog posts, which I believe was Another 100% Financing Program Available: The Community Accomodation Loan.  After reading this post she then went onto my website and submitted her information.  It turns out she was a perfect candidate for the program she read about, so we started the process.  Today, we funded and recorded her purchase of a brand new Astoria home!  Yeah!!!!  Not two hours later the owner of my company receives the following letter:

Dear Mrs. Lapointe:

I had dreamed for years about owning my own home but the whole process seemed completely overwhelming and far beyond my financial reach. Whilst wishfully searching on the internet one evening for houses and seeing all the things I thought I could never have, I somehow was linked to Rey Gallegos website.  I thought I'd give it a go and fill out the online application, but halfway through my discouragement got to the best of me because I thought I would be declined and then laughed at for wasting his time. 

The next day I received a call from Rey. Rey introduced himself and had expressed concern because it had only registered my half completed application. I proceeded to explain my financial situation with much dissuasion. Rey was able to put me at ease which is no easy task. Rey told me exactly what information I would need to provide and then made arrangements to process my pre-approval application. A couple of hours later Rey called me with the news, it was not as horrible as I thought. Rey knew of a loan program where my financial situation could possibly fit the lender requirements.

Rey then walked me through what would happen step-by-step and what impressed me most was the fact that he was forthright and honest.  It was clear that he wasn't going to pressure me into anything I didn't want or couldn't afford.  Rey kept me level headed, prepared and informed. I had many questions and was quite confused by the whole process.  Rey answered all of my questions, educated me beyond belief and kept me feeling confident throughout the whole process.  Rey liaised with my builder and title company and I can quite honestly say that I couldn't have done it without him.

Rey Gallegos is a name that will be known far and wide as the greatest asset a person could have when purchasing a home. The genuine interest and regard for my happiness was something that made the transition from being a renter to a home owner a very smooth and enjoyable experience for me. Thanks to both Five Star Mortgage and Rey for making my dreams come true!
