Make Life Easy For The Buyers' Agent....They'll Show Up More Often!!!

Reblogger

In Sunset Beach, NC, cooperation and working together in a non threatening atmosphere will certainly bring us, the buyer agents and our clients to your listings. When we work with listing agents that help to make the transaction proceed to closing smoothly, we remember that agent and want to work with them again. When a deal is difficult and the listing agent did not cooperate, we remember that agent and don't ever want to work with them again.

Not if we can help it!!

We prefer to sit in the "easy chair" like the one Barbara talks about in her blog.

easy chairAs the market continues to challenge every real estate agent who is actively working in this profession, we need to start treating each other more respectfully and cordially.  My team and I are listing agents, and as listing agents, we need all the cooperation that we can possibly muster from buyer agents.  We never forget the fact that they have the buyers.

Cooperation and accommodation are two words that never leave our vocabulary.  We offer whatever the buyers' agent needs to make the showing happen, including and not limited to, showing the home and closing it without them, but paying them the co broke fee.

We remember to not be demanding with delivering paperwork.  The US Mail works just fine.

We encourage showings by make the showing instructions very easy.  Remember, the path of least resistance works best with real estate agents!!

When it's time to close, we have a commission check ready for the co broke on the day of closing.  We never make anyone wait for their money.  Some offices in our area cut checks once a week!!!

Make life easy and those who are having a difficult time will migrate your way.  Everyone will migrate your way.  They will encourage showings at your listings, and push to close a buyer on one of your properties, just to avoid dealing with agents who make life difficult.  Everyone wants a smooth transaction.  Do you provide an "easy chair" for the buyers' agent or an uncomfortable "hot seat?"

Well it's true we do want to work with the most accommodating agents, but the reality is we will work with anyone who is listing the house our buyer wants to buy!
