This Saturday, October 13, 2007 is the Taste of Georgetown from 11 am to 4 pm in Georgetown, located in Northwest, Washington, DC. There will be approximately 25 restaurants participating. Individual tasting tickets are $5 and a pack of 5 tickets is $20 (prices subject to change).
Avoid the traffic - PARKING IS CHALLENGING IN GEORGETOWN. You can ride the Georgetown Metro Connection for FREE from 10 am to 5 pm. Every 10 minutes the Georgetown "Blue Bus" picks up at the Rosslyn and Dupont Metro Stations. If you are in Virginia, you can also take the Metro and walk across the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which connects Virginia and DC. The walk is approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
While you are there you can walk along C and O Canal (Chesapeake and Ohio) National Historical Park. Or you can walk along the waterfront and catch a view of Watergate or the Kennedy Center. 

If you decide that you just want to eat and not walk around there is the AMC Loews Georgetown Movie Theatre.
