Make the Adjustments

"Sometime you make the right decision,

sometimes you make the decision right."

Dr. Phil, author, talk show host

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Making the adjustments

We will make many decisions in our lifetime and when we make them they will seem right at the time. Some of them will be good decisions and some them we would like to forget about; quickly.

Guess what? It's physical impossibly to go through life and never to have made a bad decision.

Our objective is to make the best decision possible with the information we have and the conditions that we find ourselves in.

We have all seem the results of bad decisions and many times they where made by people we know.

The biggest pitfall in making a bad decision is accelerating it through having a case of denial.  Bad decisions have to be recognized for what they are (bad) and the quicker the issue recognized and resolved the better it will be for everyone involved.

It takes courage to admit that we made a bad decision and self-confidence to correct it.

Bad decisions that are left to fester become worst and create an infection in our thinking and drain our energy. We have to look for the best possible solution under the conditions that we find ourselves in. Make the adjustments that are required to correct the situation and move pass the bad decision and move forward.

Lou --- it's okay to make mistakes as long as we learn from them and refrain from repeating them.  If not for mistakes, there would never be any movement forward as far as I am concerned.

An old carpenter once said, "if you're not making mistakes you're not working"... A bad decision though, has to be recognized and the course corrected when necessary.  You and Dr. Phil are right on with this one, Lou.
