Houston's 25th Annual Fourth of July Patriotic Celebration
Come out and be a part of this awesome extravaganza which will celebrate the birth of our nation and give tribute to our military. I'm proud to say that Houston makes a big deal of honoring those men and women who have served in the military and fought for our freedom - so come out and help celebrate - it should be an awesome evening!
It will take place at Eleanor Tinsley Park starting at 4:00 in the afternoon with many family activities such as military displays and onsite recruiting, live patriotic music, an All-American Kids Zone, and a display of the latest Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles. There will also be a Family Fitness Challenge Area with activities provided by the Houston Aeros, the Houston Astros, Houston Dynamo, the Houston Rockets and the Houston Texans.
Bring one can of food per person to go to the Houston Food Bank and admission is FREE. Otherwise, it will cost you $8 per person. Children under 2 years old get in free.
Chris Young, Jack Ingram and Rodney Atkins will be on stage betweem 8:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
At 9:30 the fireworks extravaganza will begin. The event closes at 10:00 p.m.
