Okay, so I just want to get us all on the same page here.

You've joined the "Military Relocations" group because you work and live in a military community, and you cater specifically or often to active duty military members and their families.

With that said, let me welcome you to our group!

Once the consumer platform side of ActiveRain is launched, we should begin to see more and more prospective clients finding their way into this group. Until that time, let me encourage you to fill our group with a wealth of quality blogs. It would be great to have a balance of practical, professional "advice-oriented" posts, and good local-content posts, as well. Let's give our Servicemen and women some excellent information about all aspects of our business. Tell them about their new duty station. Try to write your posts from their perspective - what information about your area would be most helpful to their relocation, what are the area attractions? Services? Relevant area websites, Base information, schools, etc.. And as you post, remember the importance of conveying a sense of your personality and passion for what you do.

Hello Rich, Army spouse here! My hubby just returned home from his second trip overseas, this time to Iraq :( But he's home safe and we are happy to be together again! Just wanted to say hello, and tell you where I'm at, it's quite the unique location, in Northern VA! My home office is 1 mile from Dahlgren Naval Base. I live close to Quantico, and we also have Ft Belvior, and Ft A.P. Hill....is that enough military relocation service or what?? Look forward to learning from the group!

Aloha Rich - Thank you for setting this up. 60% to 70% of my business is either active duty military or retirees. I have several bases within my servicing area: Schofield Barracks/ Wheeler Field, Pearl Harbor, Hickam AFB, Camp Smith, Kaneohe Marine Corp Air Base and Barbers Point.

I look forward to exchange information with Realtors from other parts of the country who work with military and also possibly make connections that will lead to referrals abck and forth.
