June14, 2011 Flag Day. Time to show off your patriotism.
For more than 200 years the American flag represents our nations freedom and independence. Inspiring millions to come to this wonderful country to share in the ability to be free. Our flag was officially adopted by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777. Representing the patriotism Americans proudly display everywhere. Pins, bumper stickers, tee shirts, beach towels and on motorcycles.

Red stands for valor, fervency and zeal
White stands for hope, purity and innocence
Blue stands for loyalty, justice, truth and sincerity
The white stars set in a field of blue represent a constellation
The American flag has had different designs including a rattle snake and pine tree
The Bald Eagle is frequently attached in pictures with many variations. Not an official flag with the Bald Eagle however it does show strength, determination and the pursuit to protecting freedom.
I have noticed right after 911 there were flags flying everywhere. Unfortunately today many flags are in closets or rolled up and tucked in the garage. Bring out your flag and let it fly everyday. Show off the stars and stripes proudly America.
