Seattle Aquarium is hosting a photo exhibit by Daniel Beltra titled "Gulf Oil Spill"

I walked to the Aquarium to view the exhibit and share it with you. The photography was magnificent and the man made devastation is crushingly evident.

Because the photographs are behind glass with lights shining on them, my photos did not do this body of work justice, so I have provided a link to Daniel's website.

Hi Myrl~ I was greatly disappointed that my photos could not capture the essence of Daniel Beltra's work! I hope you had a chance to look at his website to actually see what an oil spill of such magnitude reeks.

As someone who lives in Florida I witnessed the economic devestation this man made mess caused. It's hard to see in the photos how many people lost their jobs, businesses, etc. Life is going back to normal but the money lost through tourism is just gone. I still can't bring myself to go to a BP station.
