Summer has arrived in Jupiter this year. It is perfect weather for snorkling, boating or just tanning. This beutiful part of Plam Beach County offers a diverse choice of outdoor and indoor activities.

Carlin park
recreation area with 3,000 feet of rocky beach, lifeguards, picnic areas, playgrounds, tennis courts, 20-station exercise courses, athletic fields, bocce court, and volleyball area. With acres of pristine sand, sport fields and courts, picnic areas with grills, and a performing arts theatre, this park has enough to keep you busy all day long. The beaches are great for those looking for a quiet swimming spot, as surfing and fishing are restricted to allow for family-friendly aquatic fun. Be sure to stick around for some of the concerts in the park that take place at the amphitheatre, as they have a full season of free shows that are sure to delight audiences.

Jonathan Dickinson State Park
Located just south of Stuart, this park teems with wildlife in 13 natural communities, including sand pine scrub, pine flatwoods, mangroves, and river swamps. The Loxahatchee River, Florida's first federally designated Wild and Scenic River, runs through the park. Ranger-guided tours of the 1930s pioneer homestead of Trapper Nelson are available year-round. Visitors can enjoy paved and off-road biking, equestrian, and hiking trails. Boating, canoeing, and kayaking along the river are also great ways to see the park. Anglers can fish along the riverbank or from a boat. The nature and history of the park comes to life through exhibits and displays in the Elsa Kimbell Environmental Education and Research Center.

Maltz Jupiter Theatre
The Maltz Jupiter Theatre is a professional not-for-profit regional theatre dedicated to the performing arts whose mission is to entertain, educate and inspire our community.

The Jupiter Lighthouse, our proud lady of the Inlet with her sweeping tower of red brick, visitors can take the Tower Trip climbing the winding 105 steps in the oldest structure in Palm Beach County.

Presents photographs and memorabilia depicting Florida history. Conservation of the coastline and the impact of the Florida East Coast Railroad are explored through the exhibits, which include fossil shells and Seminole artifacts. Changing displays are also featured. Tours of the nearby 1896 DuBois Pioneer Home and 1860 Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Museum are available.

No Matter how you choose to spend your time Jupiter Florida has it all!
