that (on Saturday June 25th)

TLC, (The Learning Channel) will feature two episodes

of the hit series

Property Ladder

Filmed five years ago in Houston, we were honored when we were asked to stage four homes for this popular TV series.   The two episodes that we'll be seeing this next weekend are favorites of ours, and of Property Ladder fans!

  • "I am Woman, here me flip" - features one of our favorite clients, and one of our favorite success stories.
  • "A Hairy Situation" - features a rather absentee client, with a surprise ending.

Howdy Shar!  I wish I could tell you how hard I worked to gain the attention of the producers of the show; and how, after all that work, I flew to Hollywood at my own expense to present my portfolio.   Alas, this is not true.

Mine, is a true Hollywood story.  Much like Lana Turner, I was just (metaphorically) sitting at the drugstore sipping my rootbeer float when fame found me.   In fact, there were so few stagers in Houston back in 2005 that there weren't many choices.   I was selected after the original stager held out for more money.   The producers looked me up through the Stagedhomes.com directory, and the rest, as they say, is television history.

I wonder if the Smithsonian would be interested in some of my staging inventory.  After all, they have Archie Bunker's chair.........<G>
