6 Comments on Carbon Monoxide Detectors REQUIRED JULY 1st in CALIFORNIA
This is a great reminder, Susan! July 1st is only days away now, so I'm on my way to re-blog this post...
It's not a pos thing right? Isn't just something we HAVE to do as of that date?
This is one of those things that is so cheap, yet so important. But, you always read in the paper about people bringing their grills inside, or some other thing they just didn't know would kill them. Or, bedrooms over a garage that collect too much Carbon Monoxide and the detector is the only way that's going to be noticed - but if you don't have one, how would you know?
And, we've all seen how many San Jose home remodels that just plop a box over the garage, right?
Yes, it's time to bring this new compliance issue to the forefront.
Great post, Susan! I remember reading about this last year and had forgotten about this new law since then, so I just re-blogged it to help remind others. :)
It is amazing how different parts of the country are different. But what hits everyone else usually hits us just at a later date.
