Are you engaged or married ?     Strange question you may ask but I wonder how many of us look at things and how different we are in our approaches.

We all want listings. We meet the potential client, do our homework and meet again for a second time.

Now at what point do you decide ( and you know you have) whether or not a potential client really wants to sell or just testing the waters.

                .  Position has a lot to do with it. The price they had in their mind may not be what the numbers say. And we know the numbers don't lie.

You see to us ( my partner and myself) truth of the matter is we don't want to marry you right now. Oh! we like to wine and dine,maybe a little dancing and of coarse the phone talk.

But the wedding will not take place until after the sale. People never really find out about people until they have been through something together.

The listing,the negotiations,inspections,banks,buyers and requests and so on.

Then and only then will we truly find out if we are compatible for each other. Because my friends in any true relationship both parties must work evenly and hard to achieve total success.

                  In this case it's the selling of the home.         

 So we tell every potential client we are not looking to marry you...........but we will get engaged
