Home sales at Palm Beach Gardens' Mirasol County Club are brisk in the first part of 2011 as prices stabilize.
Forty-one homes sold in Mirasol from January through mid-June, 2011 compared with 64 homes selling in all of 2010.
Home prices remained stable from 2010 through mid-2011 with homes sold averaging $226 per square foot in 2010 and $225 per square foot in the first half of 2011. The number of short sales and foreclosures are diminishing in Mirasol and as distressed homes come off the market, the expectation is that home values will begin to climb. There are currently 100 homes on the market in Mirasol ranging in price from the mid-$300,000's up to $3.5 million.
Mirasol is a popular country club community built between 2002 and 2010 and featuring large, well built homes in attractive settings, many backing on to golf courses, preserves or lakes. Most homes in Mirasol are larger than 3000 square feet under air and include upscale finishes of granite counters, wood cabinets and crown molding.
The club includes two golf courses, tennis courts, spa, swimming pool, state of the art fitness center and restaurants. All residents are required to purchase at least a social membership to the club.
Located just west of the Florida Turnpike on PGA Boulevard, Mirasol is convenient to world class shopping at The Gardens Mall, Downtown at the Gardens, and Legacy Place.
