Wild or Newly Wild Animals in Kentlands

When I take early morning walks through the Kentlands and Lakelands communities, I usually have a camera in hand to capture the colors of the season.  My focus is on the newly blooming spring flowers.  I do try to capture shots of any animals that I see along the way.  This good looking rabbit caught my eye because of the unusually fine coloring.  This does not look like a wild rabbit.  I would guess that someone released an Easter rabbit in Kentlands.

Roy, you would guess that someone released an Easter  rabbit, may be the rabbit went for a morning walk.

Roy - That is a gorgeous critter.  It appears to be an easter bunny that had been caged up prior to release.  It's scanning the landscape trying to figure out whether life is going to be better now.  The thing about a cage is that you don't get to go many places, but you also don't usually get eaten:-)  You can't get out - but enemies can't get in:-)

Roy, love your bunny.  And you're right.  It does look like a renegade Easter bunny!

Hi Roy,

Yes, it does look like a well cared for bunny...  and not a wild one.  I sure hope it finds it's way home... life outdoors would be pretty scary for an indoor bunny!  Great shot Roy!

Maybe he had his camera with him and took a picture of you too, Roy. He is a fine-looking rabbit.
