I Wonder What This Little Guy Is Thinking | I Got Caught Animal Watching

Ground Hog

Sometimes it really pays to have your camera on you at all times. Yesterday my kids and I were riding around and we saw this little furry friend along the side of the road. At first it wasn't moving and we thought it was road kill. Then it got up and walked across the street, all the time on all fours. I pulled over to take a picture, and just before I snapped, he stood up and started to stare back.

Ok, now I love Animal Planet, but help me out here. Is this a ground hog? A mole?

One thing for sure, when he caught me taking his picture, he stood up and took notice. I feel like the animal papparazzi!
