Okay... So, yesterday was one of Sacramento's first official HOT days. We were 96 degrees. For me, growing up in Southern AZ, I don't think that is hot, but for some, it is. However, that didn't stop buyers and their agents looking at my new listing. A 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 1762 sq ft, cosmetic fixer with 2 kitchens. Okay, one is the original kitchen that is now used as a prep kitchen, large wet bar or whatever...
I had agents in the house every hour starting at 9:30a until 8p. Some couldn't figure out the detail showing instructions, alarm system, locking the house, etc. It is amazing how so many agents simply don't ready the remarks. This afternoon, the calls kept coming and two written offers plus a verbal.
In fact, the seller didn't expect so much activity in 24 hours. As I was presenting the two offers, an agent and a potential buyer walk right on the property and surprised both of us.
All in all, we are going to collect all the offers over the weekend and look at each one, then decide by Monday / Tuesday.
Sacramento is a hot market! Whether you are buying or selling, there are houses to buy and sellers to sell. Take advange of the low interest rates and low prices. Yes, you can get a good deal and yes there are buyers out there.
