Cats do the funniest things

By

I'm sure my cats aren't the only ones who do some funny things.  This is Mia, she's about 2 years old and was born a barn cat.  She loves to sit like this, with her front half resting on the rungs of the chairs.  Have you ever seen a cat do this?

Silly cat
I could probably take a picture of her every day like this.

Silly cat againAnd again

She is so cute! I have 3 cats and I've never seen them sit like that, they are all so different.

Good Morning Tracie, Mia is adorable!  Many years ago I had a cat that would sleep on top of a 'door', he would access the door from a tall chest.  It never seamed comfortable.

Hi Tracie - Well, at least she looks a bit dignified, which is more than Edgrrr could manage in his preferred sitting position, which we called his Jabba the Hut impersonation:Ed

Tracie - While I don't have cats right now, I did used to have a cat that would fall asleep on her back with her legs spread wide open.  And to think we named her Queenie, needless to say, that was before she developed her very unladylike sleeping position.

I've never seen any of mine sit like that, Mia's got her very own signature style :)

Donna - Thanks, I agree she is cute.  My family thought she was plain, but I love her markings

Dan - On top of a door is kind of awkward!  They are certainly characters.

Dick - Edgrr is funny.  We have an oversized male cat who we've caught sitting like that.  I'll see if I have a pic.

Donne - That's funny about Queenie, another of our cats (we have 3) does that.

Diane - Yes, Mia is unique I guess.

Look at that, all my commenters names start with D -  too funny.  Here are our other 2 cats.  Delilah on the left and Misty on the right.  Misty is a boy, who got a girls name because we couldn't tell.  The name stuck and we call him Mr. Misty Fur Pants. (he's much fatter now)

P.S.  'Mr Misty' looks exactly like the kittie that slept on top of the door.  Thanks for sharing the photos of the rest of the 'gang'!

Now, those are some great cat pictures.  I can't wait to come back to see some more.  Edgrrr is hilarious.

I have seen dogs do that but not cats.  Doesn't look very comfortable!  Pretty cat!

Such a pretty cat.  I have three cats and they keep me laughing daily at the silly things they do.

I can't say I've even seen any of my cats sit in that position.  They are all so funny with the quirky things they do!
