AR Staff Rock! (I Got to Talk To Niki!)

I recently wrote a post about human behaviour and understanding what your clients feel and why. I made it a members only post, because I thought it wouldn't really benefit the public. I received a comment from Lynn B Friedman, saying she would have liked to reblog my post for others to see, but couldn't.

So I, knowing I'm a newbie and don't understand most of the rules, called the AR hotline located at the top right of everyone's screen. And Niki Parekh (the man with the 1000 watt smile) answered the phone!

What a nice guy! He got me the information; that a 'members only' post could not be re-blogged (I'm not sure why that is) and if I made the post 'public', people could.

So I went off to work and when I came back, there's my post on the Daily Drop! I am out of WT#'s and am on to Woooo Hoooo's!

Peg, That's a transition we made. Members Only has become rare for us. Maybe the Miss Bad Manners stuff and if something heads towards Rant country, but other than that, Public. We just may not push it to our Outside Blog though and keep it just to main AR site.

I'm SO jealous you're going to Raincamp - I promise to get there one day. But why aren't members only posts rebloggable (is that a word.) Seriously, there are SO many great posts here that truly are members only that should be allowed. Just my 2 cents worth.

Lynn you are full of info! There are so many groups out there! I usually check out what groups people are posting to when I comment, that way I learn about different groups. But again I'm always trying to post where I think my post will fit, just like whether my post would benefit the public or not... Thanx! I'll keep adding groups!

Sally, we get to meet Niki and the gang on Monday! 2 more sleeps yay! And after today, I need the sleep!

I had a b-day party gig, face painting and making balloon animals early afternoon, 45 minutes away, part of it on a wash board road in torrential downpour. Lovely party, very nice people, it made up for the driving. Then I had to come back to the city, go directly to a murder mystery gig, where I had my hair in rollers and got to wear my butt! Then afterwards, I found I had left my lights on from driving in the driving rain and my battery was dead, but then my car alarm locked the car down when we tried to boost it! So then I had to get it towed and the tow truck driver (who looked a bit like Charles Manson) was a self proclaimed philosopher and discussed his new book about the meaning of life all the way back to our house, while driving 30 km an hour! 1/2 an hour later... So now it's midnight and I need to go to bed, who knows if I'll actually sleep, because we have a fathers day lunch date @ 1 pm before my husband takes me to the airport! Woo Hoo! :D It's been a day!
